About this item:

A large white ceramic vessel that has been thrown and 'collapsed' into a compressed form. Artistically braided basketry attachment incorporates black and white man-made and natural fibres in white and black.  The base is glazed in creamy white glaze and the fibre is expertly woven through the holes and rises up to form a mirror image of the ceramic.

Authentic, handmade ceramic vessels can show some variation in colour, shape and texture from piece to piece. Artistic authenticity is our goal rather than identical mechanical reproductions.
